It's two days before Susan's surgery. She's been feeling well lately - just a little stressed with preparing things.
She will check into Methodist University (formerly Methodist Central) on Tuesday morning at 5:30am. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am and should last 3-6 hours.

Susan is 27 years old and living with VHL syndrome. This is a rare, genetic disorder that affects one person in 32,000 in the world. There is no cure for VHL. According to one estimate, the cure will come about the year 2025, and it will come as a result of genetic study.
